M&C Consultoria de Inovação launches Lucia, an AI receptionist designed for small businesses. She answers calls and website chats, responds to everyday questions using information provided by the business itself, schedules appointments, captures leads, and helps with follow-up. Everything is centralized in one workspace, connected to the apps the company already uses, such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Outlook, and HubSpot.
The platform is live at lucia.social. The entry plan is free and already includes one receptionist, 15 minutes of calls, and website chat.
Fewer missed calls, more time for work
Anyone running a salon, clinic, or café knows the scene: the phone rings just when your hands are full. Lucia steps in at that moment. She answers callers or website messages, explains services, prices, and hours, and helps people book a visit or request a callback. Afterwards, all conversations and messages are gathered in a dashboard for the business owner to review when free and decide what needs a reply.
An entire reception in one place
Beyond answering, Lucia offers a set of tools built into the platform:
- Phone and website: answers incoming calls and provides a voice and chat widget to place on the website, with the business’s own title, logo, and color.
- Appointments: consolidates bookings made by the receptionist and through forms, respecting weekly hours, time zone, and service duration set by the company.
- Fast CRM: leads enter a visual board where you can track the next step for each contact.
- Searchable conversations: transcripts are stored, with filters by channel and outcome.
- WhatsApp, SMS, and email: send messages via WhatsApp Business, SMS, and email using company-connected accounts.
- Forms and automations: forms to collect customer requests, webhooks to send events to other systems, and export of appointments, leads, and responses to Google Sheets.
Connected to the tools the business already uses
Lucia connects to 20 apps and providers. Among them are Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Sheets, Outlook, Calendly, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify, Stripe, and Zendesk. With these integrations, the receptionist can, for example, check the calendar and create events, add contacts to the CRM, open support tickets, or check the status of an order. The company chooses which tools each receptionist can use.
You can also connect voice and AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and Deepgram) and even custom tools via an MCP server. To receive calls on the company number, simply import a number from a compatible carrier, such as Twilio, Vonage, Telnyx, Plivo, or a SIP trunk, and assign it to the receptionist. Access and costs for each external service depend on the accounts the company connects.
Looks like your business, in three steps
Setup is designed for non-technical users:
- Share the essentials: services, hours, and the most common questions, written naturally, as if explaining to someone new. Ready-made templates by industry are available to start.
- Find your voice: choose from 10 voices, set language, greeting, and response style, and run test conversations until it feels right.
- Open the conversation: connect your phone or website, define topics to avoid, and when to transfer to a team member.
Everything can be tested before the first real call, and instructions can be adjusted at any time.
Who it’s for
Lucia was made for busy businesses: salons and studios, cafés and restaurants, home services, clinics, shops and boutiques, gyms and classes. In all of them, the goal is the same: no one is left unanswered, and the business owner stays present with the client in front of them.
“Every small business loses customers for a simple reason: no one was able to answer in the moment,” says Marcio Rosa, from M&C Consultoria de Inovação. “Lucia solves that without losing the human touch. She greets well, schedules and organizes, and the team steps in only when it really matters.”
Plans
- Studio (free): 1 AI receptionist, 15 minutes of conversation, website chat, and all conversations in one place.
- Scale (R$ 89 per user/month): 2,000 minutes included, phone, SMS and WhatsApp, call analytics, training calls, and calendar integration.
- Enterprise (custom): single sign-on (SSO), custom voice, setup assistance, contract, and support.
How to get started
Access is through the site lucia.social. The page itself has a live demo: just click and talk to Lucia by voice (the microphone is only on during the conversation). Then, simply create a free account, set up your receptionist, and have a test conversation before connecting your phone or website.
